Dinesh Ramanathan is the chief lawyer for Fengate’s real estate group, providing legal counsel on transactions, finance, asset management, corporate, and fund matters. He has extensive experience in structuring, negotiating, drafting, and closing complex transactions, including the creation of investment funds and establishing joint ventures with partners. His expertise has been invaluable in closing over $1B worth of real estate transactions. Dinesh’s most recent projects include Rail Deck District, LiUNA Gardens, Rose Garden Residences, and the Homestead industrial development.
Prior to joining Fengate, Dinesh was at Ivanhoe Cambridge where he was the lead lawyer and negotiator for large-scale real estate, commercial and technology transactions with Canadian and international corporations. Previously, he was in private practice, engaged in corporate, commercial and real estate transactions.
Dinesh earned his Hons. B.A. at the University of Toronto and his L.L.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School; he was called to the Ontario Bar in 2008.
