Michael Watt is a professional engineer and recently retired Executive Vice President of the Environmental Division at Walker Industries, headquartered in Niagara Falls. He sat on the Walker Executive Committee, leading a group of 470 employees from coast to coast in Canada. During Mike’s tenure, the division grew from $65m to over $200m in revenue. Mike currently consults with various companies, serves on advisory boards, and runs two Peer Groups for TEC Canada, one a CEO and the other a KEY Executive Group. In his role at Walker he was responsible for a wide portfolio of businesses in the environmental field, including composting, biosolids treatment, growing media from waste organics, grease trap and organics collection as well as the traditional waste management services of landfill, waste transportation and logistics. He specializes in business development, change management and mergers and acquisitions. Michael currently serves as a Director of York1, a Fengate portfolio company.
