Maxim Tcherner
Principal, Private Equity
At Fengate, Maxim’s responsibilities include sourcing, executing and monitoring Private Equity investments. Maxim joined Fengate in 2024 and is primarily focused on the healthcare sector.
Prior to joining Fengate, Maxim spent a decade with OTPP’s Private Equity team, most recently acting as a Director and co-leading coverage in the North American healthcare sector. During his time at OTPP, Maxim invested across business services, industrials and consumer, having previously served on the boards of NVision Eye Centers, Arterra Wines Canada, TricorBraun and CSC ServiceWorks. Earlier in his career, Maxim worked as an Investment Banker at Credit Suisse providing M&A advisory and financing services.
Maxim holds an Honours Business Administration degree (with Distinction) from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University and serves on the Board of Trustees for his alma mater Hillfield Strathallan College.
