Matthew Tatoff
Associate, Real Estate Investments
Matthew Tatoff is responsible for analyzing investment opportunities, financial modeling, due diligence, and transaction management support for investment opportunities across Fengate’s real estate funds.
Prior to joining Fengate, Matthew worked at KPMG in Toronto in the M&A Deals Advisory – Transaction Services group, where he provided a combination of buy-side and sell-side advice to both private equity and corporate strategic clients. Matthew’s work consisted of both domestic and cross-border transactions spanning a multitude of industries. Matthew also worked in KPMG’s Financial Institutions and Real Estate (FIRE) Audit group, where he worked with public REITs, brokerages, and private institutional real estate asset management clients.
Matthew is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University and a Bachelor of Commerce from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University
