Vernita Tsang appointed to Women’s Leadership Initiative Championship Team

Fengate is proud to congratulate Vernita Tsang, Vice President, Legal Services,  who has been named a member of the Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) Championship Team. WLI Champions are selected by the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Toronto and represent outstanding female leaders and influencers in real estate and development. The WLI Championship Team reflects the strength of Toronto’s real estate development industry, connects team members, and supports a healthier, more prosperous and equitable region.

As part of her work specializing in infrastructure transactions and public-private partnerships at Fengate, Vernita brings strong legal experience in procurement, construction and real estate matters. Prior to Fengate, she practised law at an Ontario public agency advising authority clients on all aspects of major civil, social and transit infrastructure projects delivered through public private partnership models.

Vernita recognizes the importance of training and mentorship and has served as a mentor and role model to many professionals who are now well recognized in the field nationally. Vernita also volunteers at Pro Bono Ontario’s free legal advice hotline.

Vernita is widely respected by her peers and colleagues as a leader, mentor, and champion. Over the years, Vernita has emerged as a rare and respected talent combining the technical knowledge and skillset with an ability to create partnerships with the legal leaders and business leaders across the infrastructure and real estate sectors.
