Noemi Holczer and team win NAIOP’s 11th Annual Development Challenge

Fengate congratulates the winners of NAIOP Greater Toronto’s 11th Annual Development Challenge, including our very own Noemi Holczer who was part of the winning team, Terravert Capital.

NAIOP’s Development Challenge is an annual competition that allows rising stars in commercial real estate to demonstrate their talents and skills to senior industry members through written and live oral presentations.

From July to September, the Terravert Capital team worked on creating a comprehensive development proposal for 720 Bay Street, a high-profile Toronto development site. The group’s approach included a focus on ESG, with careful consideration of the development’s impact to the surrounding community and other stakeholders.

The team presented their development concept before a panel of distinguished industry leaders last week, where they placed first based on objective criteria provided at the outset of the competition, plus the depth and quality of their live presentations.
