Jensen Clarke shares key insights on high-profile panel at InfraAmericas’ 2017 US P3 Forum

June 26, 2017

Held annually in New York City, InfraAmericas’ US P3 Forum is one of the P3 and infrastructure industry’s premier gatherings, featuring two days of high-profile panel discussions, keynote speeches and break-out meetings. Fengate Vice President Jensen Clarke was onstage for a discussion around initiatives to grow the social infrastructure pipeline; the panel explored in detail what has been restraining the social P3 market, and tackled the changes needed and the biggest opportunities in the sector. Several of the key themes that emerged in this panel discussion were named among the top ten takeaways from the conference, including Jensen’s emphasis that long shortlists can be counterproductive, often discouraging bidders and adversely affecting the quality of bidding teams. Jensen also called on the industry to broaden their discussions and promotion of P3 beyond the sector, emphasizing ongoing information-sharing and education is needed about the social benefits of public-private partnerships and the process.
