July 24, 2018

Fengate, on behalf of its investors, is proud to partner with Shiplake Properties and Collecdev Inc., highly reputable residential developers and community builders, to develop new high density residential properties located at 30 and 36 Tippett Road, in North York, Ontario.  Together, we are providing additional density including affordable housing for this transit-oriented community, as the site is adjacent to the Wilson TTC subway station, at Allen Rd. and Wilson Ave.

36 Tippett Road, a one-tower, purpose-built rental will have 171 units totaling over 124,000 sf. This project was closed in Q1 2017 and construction began in January with excavation and shoring currently well under way. Project completion date is targeted for Q2 2020.

30 Tippett Road will consist of two residential towers totalling 521 units across 372,000 sf; The buildings will have one condominium (340 units, 243,000 sf), plus one purpose-built rental (181 units, 129,000 sf). This residential development project officially closed on July 13th, 2018 and is currently in the planning stages, with construction to commence in Q4 2019 and delivery in Q2 2022.

The project is part of the Tippett Regeneration Area, which is also proposed to have a community space and new daycare facility. The combined residential complex offers a mix of condominium and purpose-built rental apartments, each with a component contributing to Toronto’s Open Door Affordable Housing Program that was established to accelerate affordable housing construction.
