The Ottawa Light Rail Transit (LRT) Stage 2 project has identified Trillium Link, a consortium comprising Fengate Real Asset Investments (Fengate), ACCIONA, Thomas Cavanagh Construction Limited, Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles (CAF) and CIMA+, as one of three shortlisted consortiums to design, build, finance and maintain the Trillium Line South extension.

The Ottawa LRT Stage 2 project builds on the Stage 1 construction of the Confederation Line and its 12.5 kilometres of electrified rail. Three main extensions will be built in Stage 2, including Trillium Line South. The Trillium Line South extension, currently estimated as a C$535 million/US$404 million project, includes the construction of approximately 11 kilometres of new rail and seven new stations, including a vital new rail link to the Ottawa International Airport.

The Ottawa LRT Stage 2 project is focused on reducing urban congestion, increasing transit ridership, and improving overall safety and mobility for residents and visitors in the Ottawa region. Read more about the Ottawa LRT Stage 2 project and Trillium Line South extension.
