November 26, 2017

Maryland’s Howard County has identified Howard Judicial Partners, a consortium comprising Fengate Real Asset Investments (Fengate), Skanska, Heery International and Honeywell, as one of three shortlisted consortiums to design, build, finance, operate and maintain the Howard County Circuit Courthouse Project.

Howard County is pursuing a public-private partnership to deliver a modern courthouse that accommodates the needs of an expanding population and meets current/future judicial requirements. The new Circuit Courthouse will be 230,000 gross square feet, LEED Silver certified, and equipped with additional courtrooms and space for jury and staff. The building will be accompanied by a structured parking facility with 600 spaces and the ability to expand to 1,100 spaces.

The project’s construction value is estimated at US$137M.
