Samir Kanji
Associate Vice President, Financial Planning and Analysis
Samir Kanji is a finance professional on the Fengate Real Estate team and leads the financial planning and analysis function for finance. As the lead for financial planning and analysis, Samir works with his team to oversee the end-to-end financial forecasting, planning/budgeting processes, and he manages various key strategic projects across our funds and portfolio.
Prior to joining Fengate, Samir was at Infrastructure Ontario, as the director of the financial planning and analysis group, overseeing the three-year strategic plan, annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and financial reporting for the organization. Samir also previously worked with the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario and Loblaw Companies Limited, with leadership roles within the financial planning and analysis function.
Samir is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Accountant (CA), member of CPA Ontario and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Toronto.
