Peter Kinkartz
Managing Director, Infrastructure
Peter Kinkartz joined Fengate as Managing Director, Infrastructure in January 2026. He is responsible for strategy and operations within Fengate’s Infrastructure business and works as part of the senior leadership team to drive the group’s long-term growth strategy and accelerate capital deployment while maintaining strong and stable investment returns for investors. Peter’s role includes providing strategic support to Fengate Infrastructure’s sector-focused teams on matters related to capital markets funding, including debt financing, equity co-investments and joint-venture capital partnerships for projects, portfolio companies, and funds. Additionally, he serves as a member of the Infrastructure Investment Committee.
Peter has over 30 years of experience in the financial services sector in Canada, the United States and Europe across corporate and investment banking, financial advisory, and debt capital markets. Peter has an extensive background in infrastructure and project finance, with a well-established track record advising on, arranging, underwriting and placing corporate and economic infrastructure, public-private partnerships and project finance transactions for corporate and financial sponsors.
Prior to joining Fengate, Peter held positions at several leading international financial institutions, including most recently as Managing Director & Co-Head, Infrastructure & Project Finance at Scotiabank Global Banking and Markets in Toronto. He holds an MBA from York University and a BA in International Relations from the University of Toronto.
