Paul Finkbeiner is a senior real estate executive and board advisor with more than 30 years of experience across global and Canadian real estate investment, asset management, operations, and governance. He advises Fengate on real estate strategy, investment execution, and platform growth, bringing deep expertise across public and private markets.

Prior to his advisory work, Paul served as Global Head of Real Estate for Great‑West Lifeco, where he led a $27‑billion global real estate platform spanning Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Ireland. Previously, he was President of GWL Realty Advisors for 17 years, overseeing the growth of assets under management from approximately $900 million to $17 billion and leading extensive acquisition, disposition, and development activity across the office, industrial, retail, and residential sectors.

Paul holds an MBA from McGill University, bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from Queen’s University, and the ICD.D designation from the Rotman School of Management.
