Managing Director, Head of Social and Transportation
Mac Bell is Managing Director, Head of Social and Transportation, where he leads a team of investment professionals and is responsible for originating and executing investments across the social and transportation sectors on behalf of Fengate’s funds.
Mac has led Fengate’s winning consortiums on a number of landmark public‑private partnership (P3) projects, including the John F. Kennedy (JFK) International Airport Terminal 6 redevelopment, the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) Consolidated Rent‑A‑Car Facility, Prince George’s County Public Schools, and The Peter Gilgan Mississauga Hospital and Shah Family Hospital for Women and Children, one of the largest hospital projects in Canadian history.
In addition to his P3 experience, Mac leads Fengate’s United States (U.S.) healthcare strategy. Under his leadership, Fengate has established a diversified portfolio of medical outpatient facilities and inpatient rehabilitation facilities across the U.S., partnering with some of the largest and most reputable not‑for‑profit systems.
Mac holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Richard Ivey School of Business and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia.
