Julia Maltby
Principal, Venture Capital
Julia is responsible for leading Fengate’s venture capital strategy, focused on investing in both early-stage funds and direct opportunities. Based in New York City, Julia manages key industry relationships as the Private Equity business continues its expansion in the United States.
Prior to Fengate, Julia was with early-stage venture capital firm, Flybridge Capital, leading their investments in vertical software for foundational industries, and served as a board observer to multiple early-stage technology companies in real estate and sustainability. Julia also founded and managed Deco Ventures, a pre-seed fund focused on software for the physical world.
Julia holds an MBA from the Wharton School and a BA from Vassar College, with concentrations in Urban Studies and Architectural Design.
