Deian Kutev
Managing Director, Private Equity
As Managing Director, Deian leads the Private Equity group’s investments, strategy and operations, with a focus on middle-market business services companies across North America. He joined Fengate in 2015 and helped establish the firm’s private equity group in 2016, building its capabilities in this sector.
Deian currently serves as a director on the boards of Sussex Strategy Group, Inflector Environmental Services, and York1. He previously served as a director on the boards of GraceMed and Ecotex Healthcare Linen Services and as an observer on the boards of eStruxture Data Centers and Cricket Energy.
Prior to joining Fengate, Deian worked in investment banking at TD Securities in both Toronto and Vancouver and started his career in venture capital at GrowthWorks Capital.
Deian is a CFA Charterholder and holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours from the University of British Columbia.
