David Luder
Principal, Private Equity
As Principal, Private Equity, David participates in all areas of the investment process, including sourcing, executing and managing investments, helping lead the team's business services strategy with a focus on facility services. David joined Fengate Private Equity in 2017 as the third member of the investment team and currently serves as a Board Member of CanPro Roofing Partners and Saco Foods and as a Board Observer of York1. He previously served as a Board Observer of eStruxture Data Centers.
In 2024, David received the inaugural One Fengate Award, an annual award given to an employee who has made extraordinary contributions, consistently gone above and beyond to contribute to the firm's success, and did so with a One Fengate mindset that drives firm-wide collaboration and impact.
Prior to joining Fengate Private Equity, David worked in the investment banking divisions at CIBC Capital Markets where he was focused on mergers and acquisitions and capital raising transactions. Prior to CIBC, he began his career in the investment banking division at BMO Capital Markets.
David holds an Honours Business Administration (with Distinction) from the Ivey Business School at Western University.
