Brad Nelson serves as Executive Chairman of Fengate’s Toronto Rail Yards project, providing executive leadership and governance oversight.

A senior executive with more than 40 years of experience, Brad has led major construction and business development initiatives across North America, Australia, and the Caribbean. He spent nearly two decades at PCL Constructors Inc., including as President and Chief Operating Officer, where he helped grow billed volume from $3 billion to $6 billion and advanced the firm’s entry into public‑private partnerships (P3), securing more than $15 billion in negotiated contracts. Earlier, he spent over 20 years at EllisDon, serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.

Recognized for his ethics, integrity, and commitment to construction health and safety, Brad is a respected consensus builder and board member. He has served on the boards of The Guarantee Company of North America and PCL Construction Holdings Ltd., as well as other industry and community organizations.

Brad studied Civil Engineering Technology at Fanshawe College, where he received a Distinguished Alumni Award and an Honorary Diploma. In 2013, he was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal.
