Benjamin Adelson is a senior legal advisor with more than a decade of experience in private equity, mergers and acquisitions as well as other business transactions across the Canadian and U.S. markets.  He advises Fengate’s infrastructure team on investment execution.  

Prior to his advisory work with Fengate, Ben was a Partner at Kirkland & Ellis where he represented private equity funds, asset managers, and other companies across a wide range of industries on their acquisitions, investments, restructurings, and other corporate matters.  

Ben holds a J.D. and bachelor’s degree from Queen’s University, and he is qualified to practice law in Ontario, New York, and Texas, although he does not currently practice U.S. law.
