Fengate Asset Management’s Kristen Floro wins 2025 PE Rising Woman Star Award
Fengate is proud to announce that Kristen Floro, Senior Associate, Origination, Private Equity has been named the recipient of the 2025 PE Rising Woman Star Award from the Canadian Women in Private Capital Awards. This prestigious award recognizes high-achieving professionals who have made significant contributions to the growth and success of the Canadian private capital industry.
Since joining Fengate, Kristen has played a pivotal role in transforming the firm’s private equity strategy, leading the transition to a sector-focused investment model and driving growth. Her contributions have resulted in a 40 percent increase in deal flow, alongside the development of innovative investment theses that support long-term value creation.
In addition to her strategic accomplishments, Kristen has been a key driver of Fengate private equity’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives, including her contribution to the firm’s Sustainability Report. She has also demonstrated a strong commitment to fostering a more inclusive workplace through her leadership in Fengate’s EBID (Equity, Belonging, Inclusion and Diversity) Think Tank, where she spearheaded efforts to hire more women into private equity roles.
