Fengate showcases power financing expertise at the Canadian Power Finance Conference

On January 19 and 20, Fengate sponsored and participated in the 8th Annual Canadian Power Finance Conference in Toronto, hosted by IJGlobal. The event is a meeting place for energy developers and lenders in North America. This year, key themes included Alberta’s wholesale power market, project acquisition and sale, and Canada’s power project areas of opportunity. Two of the panels featured Fengate professionals. Andrew Cogan, Director, was a panelist on “The secondary market: Exploring the drivers behind current levels of power asset acquisition and sale”; Mac Bell, Director, participated in “Connecting Aboriginal and industry leadership: The importance of First Nations involvement in successful power projects.”
