April 26, 2017

On April 26th, Fengate participated in The Canadian Institute’s 3rd Annual Delivering Urban Transit Infrastructure Conference with speakers Vernita Tsang and Valerie Blinch. The focus of the conference was the status of on-going transit projects across Canada and plans for the next phase of development.

Vernita Tsang, Vice President, Legal and Valerie Blinch, Vice President, Infrastructure participated on the panel: The Process of Qualifying and Submitting a Bid – Challenges for Project Companies and Owners.  The panel provided insight into some of the most contentious issues between owners and proponents, including the legal ramifications of submitting a bid, and how Proponents and Owners can navigate them through RFQ, RFP, and beyond. The panel will focus on specific topics, some of longstanding interest, and some reflecting on the evolution of the AFP model.

Fengate has recent expertise in urban transit infrastructure as part of TransEd Partners, the consortium selected to design, build, finance, operate, maintain and supply vehicles for the Edmonton Valley Line Light Rail Transit Project in Alberta.
