Prince George's County Blueprint Schools Program (Phase One)

Boosting classroom capacity and learning opportunities in a major school district 

Fengate was the lead developer and equity investor in the first phase of the Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) Blueprint Schools Program.  

The Fengate-led consortium bundled the delivery of five state-of-the-art middle schools and one kindergarten through eighth grade (K-8), completing the project in two-and-a-half years and creating 3,000 jobs for local businesses during construction.  

The new schools opened their doors to more than 8,000 students in Fall 2023. The bundle was the first public school project in the United States to be delivered as a public-private partnership.
