
Fengate highlights union work and economic impact across the U.S. and Canada with release of 2025 Labour Impact Report
Fengate is proud to release its latest Labour Impact Report. The report covers significant progress made throughout 2025, and highlights the positive effect of Fengate's investments on the generation of union work hours and economic impact for local communities throughout the U.S. and Canada.

"Responsible labour principles have been integral to Fengate’s mission from the start," says Della Nice, Fengate's Director, Responsible Investment. "Fengate recognizes that the use of responsible labour groups, comprised of skilled craft professionals, can enable productive and safe working conditions that comply with or exceed regulatory requirements while delivering quality assets."
Highlights from the report include:
• 2.7+ million union construction hours generated by Fengate’s infrastructure and real estate platforms across 14 different skilled trades, and over 3.5 million union operating and maintenance hours
• 5 Fengate Real Estate multifamily housing projects broke ground, which will deliver more than 1,900 housing units upon completion
• 3 major Fengate Infrastructure projects broke ground to deliver new public schools, student housing, and a state-of-the-art hospital
• Fengate's Infrastructure Responsible Contractor Policy received a score of 88% for NABTU’s Infrastructure Manager Report Card
• Fengate enhanced its labour governance by introducing Responsible Workforce Principles to guide the standards among its portfolio companies
• Fengate launched its Social Opportunities Fund, a North American real estate strategy focused on housing, healthcare, and logistics projects delivered substantially by skilled trades
