Managing Director, Infrastructure – Head of Asia-Pacific
Gregory Osborne joined Fengate in 2013 and is focused exclusively on Fengate’s infrastructure funds. Greg is responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including sourcing investment opportunities, arranging financing, project delivery and the management of asset portfolios, together with establishing and managing infrastructure funds on behalf of investors.
Greg possesses over 30 years of experience in infrastructure asset investment and portfolio management. Prior to joining Fengate, he was Chief Executive Officer of the Macquarie Global Infrastructure Fund I, Global Infrastructure Fund II, Global Infrastructure Fund III, Macquarie International Infrastructure Fund and Lombard Macquarie Infrastructure Fund together with several discretionary mandates with institutional investors. As Chief Executive Officer of these funds, Greg was responsible for the evaluation, acquisition and management, via board representation, and subsequent divestment of several major infrastructure projects in Australia, Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and other parts of Europe and Asia-Pacific.
Greg has been intimately involved in the corporate management and governance of organizations since 1999, and has been instrumental in the establishment of over 40 publically-listed companies, private companies, and trusts throughout the Asia-Pacific region and globally.
Greg earned a BComm from the University of New South Wales, a MAppFin from Macquarie University, and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
